Minister of Agriculture Audu Ogbe
The outgoing Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Dr. Bukar Hassan, called on all Ministry staff to remain committed to achieving the goal of ensuring national food security for the country and ensuring that agriculture reaches its well-deserved position in national development.
He said this during the departure ceremony, organized in his honor by the ministry in Abuja, recently.
The Minister, Chief Audu Ogbe and the State Minister, Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, praised him for his praise, honesty, humility and agility, offering honest professional advice to his political leaders in the ministry, thereby saving them from possible mistakes.
The directors attributed to Hassan result-oriented leadership, open door policies, human disposition, and commitment to staff welfare, even in the face of reduced resources.
The Tokyo gift, which the chief Ogbe jokingly called “not a bomb for a check or parcel,” was later presented to the celebrated in memory of the dismissed administrator.
