The TAAT coordinator gave confidence on Tuesday in his speech at a seminar organized for target countries within the framework of the TAAT in Abuja.
He said that Aquaculture Compact is one of 15 CDs including TAAT, headed by the World Fish Center.
Emphasizing that this will promote the expansion and expansion of aquaculture technologies in Africa to increase the productivity of aquaculture producers in the value chain, increase the consumption of fish proteins and increase sustainability in the value chain.

With the same direction, the Director of the Department of Fisheries and Culture of Acqua, the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Pwaspo Istifanus said that this gesture will stimulate the extraction of fish and other agricultural production in the country.
He lamented that, unfortunately, the country now has an annual deficit of about 2.4 million tons of fish.
He noted: “The annual national demand for fish of Nigeria is 3.5 million metric tons, and total production from all sources [Acqua-Culture, Artisanal and Industrial] is about 1.1 million metric tons per year. ”
