Four farmers who the murdered shepherd, were brought to trial before the trial of the magistrate Ilorin.
The accused allegedly conspired and shot the deceased, accusing him of grazing cattle on his farm.
The accused are Abdulrahman Olatunji, 27; Amid Kehinde, 28; James Olamlekan, 20 and Ajadi Sadiq, 28 from the village of Okaka, Oke Oyi, Kvara.
They were prosecuted for prosecuting two charges of criminal conspiracy and guilty murder, which contradicts sections 97 and 221 of the Criminal Code Act.
Anxiety began for the accused on August 11, 2018 complaint in the police department of Oke County Oyi, Ilorin, Kvara by one Mohammed Gambo from the village of Kumi, the local government of Ilorin, claiming that one of his sons, who took his animals to the pasture, was killed.

The first police information report (FIR) reported that an investigation conducted by the Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department of Ilorin showed that the deceased who allegedly entered agricultural land in the village of Okaka was killed by an accused who conspired and shot him in the course of the battle that followed between them.
The FIR added that Abdulrahman (the first accused) admitted that he was the man who killed the deceased with the help of a pistol.
The prosecutor, Sergeant Oderinde Abidin, told the court that the investigation of this case is continuing.
He objected to the sub-heading of the accused and urged the court to return them to jail in anticipation of the investigation.
Defender Barrister A.Yu. Edun was looking for another to enable him to officially file an application for release on bail of the accused.
The judge, Mrs. E.K. Abu, who refused to accept the statement of the accused for lack of jurisdiction, ordered that the accused be kept in custody in the federal prison yard, Ilorin awaiting the results investigation.
The case was postponed until September 12, 2018 for further reference.
