Amaka Chukwudum was born in Anambra State to successful Nigerian farmers/merchants. She holds a several degrees/certificates from different institutions both in Nigeria and abroad.
They are as follows:
- Bachelor Degree in English Education from Abia State University Nigeria.
- Diploma in Clinical Psychology for Children and Young People from University of Edinburgh.
- Certificate in Organic Farming from Songhai Training Institute Republic of Benin.
- Master in Business Administration from Business School, Netherlands.
She has also obtained 6 years of rewarding banking experience in a reputable bank in Nigeria – this position helped define her path. She would eventually bring that chapter of her glowing career to a close by signing up as an Operations Manager in one of the best Logistics Companies in the country. Within that period, she began honing her skills in farming by engaging in endless researches, all in a bid to provide solutions to some challenges encountered in farming and agriculture at large. In no time, her passion for farming and vision to become a great farmer (like her parents), which was further strengthened by some rewarding mentorship engagements, paved the way for her to embrace the promise agriculture holds. Today, her passion in the industry has earned her the nickname ‘The Unrepentant Farmer’. A title she bears with pride.

Amaka has written many books on diverse interests in Agriculture. ‘Gold in the Bush’, her book on snail farming is one of the most widely read across the country. Also, as a seasoned advocate for organic farming and leader of the Eat Right Initiative, she consults for organisations locally and internationally. She has facilitated and/or featured as a facilitator on several entrepreneurship programs organised by her company, Amicable Mondiale Farms, with some organisations such as churches, banks, schools etc. She holds a plethora of excellence awards in Agriculture.

Amicable Mondiale Farms, an Agricultural Company with sizeable farms in 6 states in Nigeria and in Benin Republic, is the product of her sworn commitment to the industry. The company has specialities in organic production of both crop farming and animal husbandry. In a bit to retain the founder’s expansionist ideals, the company’s whirlwind success in the area of export commodity trades has gone on to include hardwood industrial charcoal, hibiscus, processed snails, dried split ginger, processed periwinkles, dried bush meat, palm oil, tiger nuts, melon seeds and soybeans. Presently, Amicable Mondiale has a trademark in the local manufacturing of body care products; such as body butter and black soap, Stevia – a healthy sweet drop that is 300 times sweeter than white sugar yet it has zero calories.
The company’s Stevia, for all its breath-taking production and sales success, complements her famous natural honey production.
Their line of virgin organic and essential oils – citronella, castor, carrot, cumin, lavender, jathropha, moringa, garlic, Jojoba, turmeric, mint, avocado, neem, raw shea butter, orange, coriander, rosemary and spices of all kinds – underscores Amaka’s determination to stamp vast prints on global agriculture. In addition to this, the company is also known for their production of organic local rice, grafted seedlings for dwarf fruits and flours of different kinds – plantain flour, poundo yam flour, beans flour, tiger nut flour – with drinks and smoothies of different flavours. Also they have well nurtured snails.
Springboard from her success in her farming venture, Amaka has a passion for helping other women and youths get involved with farming and make a good living out of it like she has. She also has a pet project she called Amicable Little Speckle which is focused on changing the face of agriculture in Nigeria by introducing farming to primary and secondary school children. This project exposes the beauty and rich value of agriculture to their young mind, so our green world can be preserved. More so, as a means of ensuring long-term sustenance of her drive to foster economic self-reliance through agriculture.
Amicable Mondiale Farms has achieved landmark success in training women and youths in both rural and urban settlements across Nigeria to reduce the cost of running farms to almost 5%. This she achieves through waste recycling within the farm.
Amaka is the President and founder of Dynamic Greener Agropreneur Association and vice President of Women Sans Frontier Cooperative. She has appeared on quite a lot of International Television broadcast and several pages of local & international papers which includes;
