Demand for Nigerian Fish Abroad Increasing – NEPC


Nigerian Fish: The Nigeria Export Promotion Council (NEPC) has confirmed there is a huge market for Nigerian fish abroad as the demand is increasing.

The Executive Secretary of the commission, Segun Awolowo, who gave the confirmation at a training for fish farmers in Kaduna, said that was why his council was training fish farmers in the art of processing to boost and preserver yields for export.

Represented by the Assistant Director in the council, Tijjani K. Zakari, the NEPC boss said the quantity of fish Nigeria exports was significant enough to warrant government’s attention.

The NEPC specified that Nigerian fish had a huge market abroad especially among Nigerians in the Diaspora.
